So I finally really checked out the rust situation on the '62 panel I just unearthed. I'm most definitely going to need a parts cab. Anyone know where there's a bare cab, 60-63 that has an undamaged windshield frame, and cowl sections? Preferably somewhere in texas. I realize this sounds completely insane, but otherwise the truck is in pretty good shape for 41 years old. It even ran when parked in '82, and isn't locked up. I'm a welder and I have a good tig machine. If guys on the southside can chop and channel a vehicle, I ought to be able to to do a little transplant operation right? I'm thinking it may actually be easier to replace the entire front of the cab, rather than just the windshield frame sections.
Any suggestions from the gurus?
