I built my own from 2" straight pipe and mandrel bent (4) 45 angles and (2) 90 angles I bought from JC Whitney. The fentons have weird angles but I was able to cut the 90 degree bend down to the correct angle. Then just to the one side of the hump in the trans member. I am going for a down and dirty rod look not stock so I took the pipes out along the side with thrush glasspacks in the running board area stopping just short of the rear tire. I mig welded all the seams except for at the glasspack and painted them black. Once you have that first angle done its easy.

Having them bent would definitely have been easier and faster but I didn't feel like having my truck towed to a shop. I would definintely consider building them again but next time I think I would remove the front body work to make getting that first angle easier. That took me a few cuts to get right.
