Nice read, thanks for posting. I too am in the camp that thinks 6v electrical systems work just fine. My '46 Jeep still runs a 6v system. I was going to stay 6V on my '52 up until the day I decided to add A/C. That decision forced me to switch over to 12v which, of course, works just fine as well.
