We are trying (3 steps forward, 5 steps back!) to get our supposed 1950 3100 pickup together. Our latest problem is getting the hood to fit! It's close on the passenger side but sticks up and out on the driver's side about an inch. We are using the the original hood hinge & spring mounting holes. My question is this, Were there any changes in the hoods from '47 to '53? If so, how do we tell if a hood is correct for the '50?
