Ozarks_1, that looks like a handy tool for someone that doesn't have a mig welder but a mig welder will do what it does and much cleaner. The instructions for using it as a spot welder say drill small holes and fill them as we discussed above.
If someone has an A/C arc welder and doesn't want to go to the expense of buying a mig that would be a good deal for sheet metal work.
