Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,272 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,272 | hay thanks u all I read on line that a 55 had a larger cam journals and a larger water pump that the impeller fits in the block .I haven't taken the pump off but I am going to for rebuilding .the article stated also the55 had a full pressure flow oil system the 54 has a spray .all info on this is greatly appreciated . 54 235s are also full pressure engines. They did have smaller cam journals than later engines.
