appears to be a 4 wheel drive truck, probably had a van body for comm equipment or maybe a tanker or a number of other configurations .... don't know that anyone would be interested in a 'restored' military truck that big, but there are a couple WW2 military vehicle sites on the net you might find .... and no they weren't diesel, just the run of beefed up Chevy and GMC civilian trucks
