Albert, hard to tell how old the hardener is but I just bought it three days ago with the gallon of filler, I mixed up a bit more and it is as hard as ever but has a surface that seems to be kinda sticky ... put it this way it's not glassy you can't run your had over it like normal ... your hand kinda gets hung up ... it's wierd ... the shops is warm enought that I work in my tshirt. Seems like Murphys Law ... if I accidently dropped a little bit of hardener in the gallon can, the whole thing would be as hard as a rock by tomorrow morning - but come up short in a half cup of the stuff it won't set up for love nor money ... ain't life wonderful?
