Sure you can secure it. I used the wireless on my '38. You have a clip on each end & a hook in the middle of the body radius. These pics are of my coupe. The pickup should be similar. The hook is shaped like a "J" with tail being threaded & a nut inside the cab. Hook at the belt line radius. One on each side. End clip. One on each side. This shows the rubber piece that goes down the forward edge.
