I just got a rear bumper for my 1950 project from Jim Carters. I wanted something that would last forever, never rust out or have little rust holes in the plating which happens whenever you plate metal. So, polished stainless. You would swear its chrome. But the good news it isn't! I had to call them back and thank them for their service. You see, they sent me the wrong bumper on Friday. It was chrome and had a belt line to it. So I got it at 2pm and I called them and told them about it. At 11am on Saturday morning (the next day) FedEx shows up with a call ticket to pick up the wrong one, AND deliver the right one! I dunno how they even did it that quick. $374 in case you are curious. It will be the last bumper this vehicle ever needs. I am a real fan of stainless and use it for every fastener on the truck. If you do the math-over-time calculations, not sure its more expensive in the long run.
