Hey there Stovebolt!
I am new to the forum and have been trolling gathering advice for my 1946 chevy truck.
I picked it up from an old gentleman who has owned the truck since the early 50's. It is a running driving truck with only minor surface rust. I am in the process of converting it to a more modern vehicle as I will be driving it any and everywhere. I have a heidts Mustang II and a 350 crate motor as well as a 700r4 and 8.5 4x4 s10 rear axle with 3.42 posi. Should be a fun ride when Im done.
I have found several valuable topics of similar (but not exact) conversions and am prepared for the long haul restoration! If anybody here has any need for my leftover parts ie, the original engine trans and rear, PM me and we can figure out the next steps!
