Im running a 235 out of a 62 Impala in my 49 pickup. Starts great every time Idles fine when cold but as temp starts to rise my idle speed starts to slow down, while driving if I come to a stop sign or red light it will completely die, I hit the starter button an it starts just fine but as soon as I take my foot off the gas it dies. I am running the stock Rochester one barrel. Do I need to get a carb kit an see if that helps or do I need to start looking for a new carb, if so any recommendations for a new carb? Thanks for any advice you guys can give me.
