Hy jville, while a GMC General may not be particularly sought after, there is a group of large truck collectors out there, they are members of the American Truck Historical Society. I am a Chevrolet GMC truck collector. Trucks of all sizes, I own a 1986 GMC General tandem, GMC stopped making class 8 trucks in the late 80s which I think would make the last versions of these trucks collectable to those whose main interest is GMC. If you advertise the truck for sale make sure to include which engine and transmission it has, and also what it was used for, wheelbase may also be something people would want to know, hope that helps.
