6tvette Wrench Fetcher 6 Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 67 minnesota u.s.a.	I think most of the early alternators were 35 amp, i would want atleast a 70 amp alt. the harness conversions are just a jumper wire at the voltage regulator, should be fine. 1966 Chevy C10 Shortbox Fleetside
