Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 40 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 40 | I made wheel tubs for my '38 by cutting out the shape on one bed side (do a nice job) and use it as a patern for the other side so they match . Then I had a metel shop cut 2 - 14 gauge strips about 8" wide .(one for each side) I welded this strip to the cut out part at 90 degree angle. there is the tub to weld to the opening of the bed side. Just be for warned to go slow welding this in because I got a slight bow in my bed side and I was going easy on the heat ! I'v gotten several positive comments on it so I guess it turned out alright . | | |
