Lonnie, if these braces are flattened at one end with two holes to receive bolts and threaded at the other end, they are the diagonal fender braces located in the engine compartment. The flattened ends are connected to the firewall (near the center) with 5/16"-18 x 5/8" cap screws into captured hex nuts. At the fender ends, the threaded rods are connected to v-shaped brackets using 3/8"-16 hex nuts and washers (see pic below)
