After paying all that money I expected to get markedly better results than I was getting with the Harbor Freight HVLP cheapie. Painted a panel with the cheapie the other day and I had a better finish than with the Platinum. Am I doing something wrong? I have enough experience with the cheap gun to know where to set it for good results. Maybe my settings are off on the new one. I have the material valve all the way open (4 turns out) and the built-in pressure gauge is reading 10 pounds at the cap. It doesn't seem to put out as much paint as the other gun, even when all the way open. | | |
