Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 1,747 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 1,747 | For the truly stuck oil pan I have found that a putty knife, about 1 1/2 inch wide can be driven into the gasket to start cutting it loose. It won't bend the pan and won't scar the block. Start where you can and use a hammer to drive it into the gasket keep going until you can move it and it will come off. Then you get to clean all the goo off but it will come apart. Have fun.
