Update... After a couple of years with not enough progress we (wife and I) made the choice to send the truck out to a shop. I had roughed out what I wanted and had parts in place to fabricate the bed as I wanted but not enough time to complete it. I am fortunate to have a job that pays well but is to demanding of my time after 8 hours everyday. Having worked 260 plus hours of overtime from Jan 1 to June 30 left little time to work on the truck so off to the shop it went. I have it back now and am very pleased with the results though it's not done yet but back on the road. See the gallery listing to get a look at updated pic's.
