I recently purchased a 53 3600 short bed for parts. The trucks chassis had been restored but its better shape than my 1/2 ton i started out with. I have way more parts for a short bed 3100. Wondering if its a smart or stupid idea to shorten the 3600 and use all 3100 running gear on this chassis.....any input is greatly appreciated !
I am not looking for a show truck but just a good looking classic that suits my needs and wants.
