I went and got 5 ton of #2 stone with my 68 C50, It has the 292. All went well except for one hill, I hit it in 4 high doing about 40, fast as I could go on the winding road, midway I mis shifted or something? I finished the hill about 5 mph in 4 low? Coming out of the quarry one fellow in a new tri axle gave me a honk and thumbs up, I think he liked seeing the old Chevy working.
