Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 25 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 25 | i'm pulling my 64 sm420 apart. when i pulled the front pilot shaft out 16 needle bearings fell out . is this what is called the pocket bearing? and stuck deep in the back was a spring steel type of a retainer.is this part of a cage. did this tranie eat itself up ? i did not see metal parts or shavings. i'm only doing the upper bearings.how do i put the needles back? with heavy grease? the retainer thing was laying loose in back of pilot shaft so i don't where it goes.i hope you understand what i'm trying to say. art | | |
