I've always used laquer primer, but want to try using urethane for my '53 chevy. There is a huge variation in pricing on primers and I'm not sure what brand(s) I should be looking at. Kirker sells Urethane primer for about $35/gal and $25 for hardener. PPG is at least 2x the cost. Do you get what you pay for, or are there some less expensive but good products out there???
some advice would be appreciated
