Sparky, I installed a Dana 60 from a 70 Chevy 3/4 ton that does have the same 8 bolt wheel pattern. It was a little too wide looking so after a year of running it that way I shortened it by purchasing axle shafts from a J20 Jeep which worked well. The Dana 60 was also a coil spring set-up, so I had to weld on spring perches and the shock mounts from the old rear end. Has 3:54 gears so it really helped highway speeds. Dave
