Hey all,

Trying to clean up my cluttered shop yesterday, and came across this part. It was attached to the speedometer port on a civilian 4 speed non-synchronized transmission attached to a Frankenstein 235 engine. What year or model the part was from is anyone's guess as the engine/trans it came from had components with casting dates ranging from 1937-1959. It think it has something to do with a two speed rear. Anyway, I would like to know what it is and what it does. If you can answer my questions, and you need one, it is yours for the cost of transportation.
