I am having parts of my truck primed in acrylic primer piece by piece as I remove and blast them down to bare metal. I don't intend to paint for a while. Will acrylic primer prevent rust? My truck will be kept under a tin shed and should receive very minimal direct rain. Am I ok? I would prefer to use an expoxy, but someone is doing this job for free for me, or rather we are exchanging work for work. Thanks folks for any and all help.
