Lots of discussion here on this board and a search of the archives will get you lots of good info. Personally, I used a self etch primer over the sandblasted metal then a satin black enamel finish. If I were doing it again I would strongly consider powder coating the frame. Stuff holds up well and cost is comparable if not less than painting. Lots of guys use and recommend POR-15. I'm not sure about putting it on sandblasted metal. Just my input. You should get lots of others. | | |
