Thx for the input...I got her started...1st time in 10 years...here's what I did: pulled the original pink wire from the connector on the ignition switch & replaced it with this brown connector that was provided in the alt harness kit. The alternator harness has a 2nd connector where the original pink connector now plugs into near the ignition switch. I didnt have any power to the fuse block that was provided with the harness kit that is placed on the firewall. I ended up placing a 10awg wire from + battery terminal to the fuse block... this gave me the juice I needed. Hope this helps the next guy...Anyone looking to convert to an alternator - this is cake. Just buy Part# 52-895...classic parts...or look up part in Autowire website
