could I sneak in here and ask a question?i have a 216 with a 3 speed.the 216 is junk,soi want a235(do,nt ask me why)my old panel is a 1955.will the 216 bell houshing fit a 235?.thank you.
I can tell you "why". 30-50 more horse power than the 216 depending on what vintage of block and head that you choose. More pep to to get the truck out of its own way without many modifications. (V8 swap requires addition of power steering and should include brake upgrade.)
