The round floppy head ratchets are nice because you can swing it out and use it like a nut driver.

This is the one I have that's sort of similar, I hate the split beam, makes it feel weak as it flexes (not a problem with the Wera)

In any case I don't think this round head sort of ratchet is a one and only tool, they have good uses but you'll probably want other ratchets in your kit.
