I probably need to adjust the clutch on my 61 GMC half ton with the 305. it doesn't take hold till pretty close to the top and I certainly am not looking forward to trying to replace it. can any free travel be felt with the hydraulic slave cylinder setup or should I just see if I can back any adjustment off till it hopefully engages at about half travel? I have in the past adjusted mechanical linkages but I know later model hydraulic clutches on Fords I have owned were pretty much self adjusting with no adjustment available best I remember
