I like the looks of the old canister filters, but then again, I like most anything "old". You can still buy the filter that goes inside the canister, they're about 10 bucks. I have a '56 265 that has the spin on adapter, and I also have a '58 235 truck motor with no oil filtration at all. the canister oil filters are worth something to someone doing a resto. How much is the question.
