| | | | Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 899 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 899 | On my 49 I have a 6" rubber hose coming out of tank going into a hard line. Then a hard line into pump and from pump to carb. I would think a hard line from tank to pump will work loose over time due to flexing of the cab on chassis. I also installed an in-line filter in my hose at the tank.
