Excuse me for bringing up a nearly 5 year old post but Peggy finally prodded me into writing a Gallery article on the Suburban. In it she linked to this post.

I just wanted to give an update on the seat questions above. The rear seat that came in it was from a '60-66. So was the middle one I got from Tony. They do not fit right in the '54. The seat that came in it was mounted on 2X10s which were bolted to the floor.

I managed to get a set of proper seats from Mothertrucker and drove the burb out to AZ and picked them up.
