OK. Here's my problem. I have a '52 3100 with the original speedo in it. The tranny is a '54 SM420 4 speed. The speedo gear is in the tranny and the cable housing is connected but there is no end to the cable connecting it to the gear in the tranny. I can't seem to find a cable that specifies it's for a SM420 in the description at any of the normal parts locations (Classic, ..of the 40's..., Brothers, LMC, etc). Can anybody give me an idea what cable will fir the application and where I might find it? I appreciate the help.
