Mufflers for a CJ7 with a 304V8 (also used on some years of Cadillac with the 500) will give you the sound you're after.

Ridin' with LB Is that the set up you were talking about? What size was the inlet, what size outlet, and what kind of mufflers? I am running Fenton's both intake and exhaust. Was that dual mufflers and was an x or h pipe used? It did not seem too loud for the cab.
