Thanks all. I took the carburetor off when I tore down the engine. So don't believe the studs are broken. I should have paid closer attention to the gasket - I have 2 on there and sounds like I should remove the 1. I will also measure and compare. Thanks again for getting back... now I have something to do tomorrow! :-)
