Ribside 'Bolter R Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 41 Iowa	Hey guys, My 1964 GMC/C10 hybrid needs major diff work and I was wondering what ratio to use. It has a Chevy 283 2 bbl mated to a SM420 4 speed and currently a 3.54 rear end. I've run the numbers on using the 3.54 or switching to 3.07 and I'm leaning towards the 3.07 for top end speed at lower RPMs, but, I'm not sure what the 283 likes to run at. Any suggestions? Brian
