The weather is finally letting me get going on my 51 3104, so I figured I'd change the oil and get her lubed up. When I pulled the old oil filter, there's still an inch or so of oil in the canister. It's been a while since I worked on this type filter, but I thought it should all drain down. Is something plugged? I tried to find a drain/return with a piece of stovepipe wire, but no luck. I'm going to sop the oil up with some rags, whats my next step? Thanks. John P.s.: The element is a NAPA 1100 if that helps to clarify.
