junkyard Apprentice J Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 12 Aberdeen, Wa	the "dark purple" oil you referred to is probably Royal Purple synthetic oil. I work in a parts house and that is the most common for that color. junkyard 1952 GMC 1/2-ton Long Box Pickup Truck
