LONGBOX55 'Bolter L Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 DANVILLE IL	Yup, what the others said. The 2nd series came out about March of '55, if you want to pin it even closer. In addition to the trucks, the first 6 or so Corvettes in '55 (the last 6 cylinder models) also were 6 volt. Bill Burmeister
