| | | | Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 62 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 62 | Can i put 1940 4 speed trans in 1950 half ton by using a 1940 bellhousing.i do have the have the the 1940 trans.if this is do able,i would get a 1940 bell housing.my 3 speed 1950 trans has had its better days.i notes the bolt pattern was a little narower on the 1940 trans left to right.this truck is nothing special i just whant it fuctionable.thanks | | |
