Since my question is similar I thought I would add to this post.
I too need and adjustment tool and it might be a good idea to get a pair of those big pliers to put the springs on too. I would like to get snap-on brand because...well because I like tools. I can find the tools on ebay but I am not sure what snap on part number is correct (1955 first series). If someone has the snap-on tools and they work on the Stovebolt brakes could you kindly post the part numbers?
