after converting my 51 to 12v all has been good.
until last night.started fine one minuiet, starter dead the next.the unit it self looks like a fairly resent re-con but i have no history with it.it took the switch of and this seemed fine so then i got the battery cable and toutched the contact on top of the starter.nothind not even a spark.i held it there for 30 seconds or so to see if the motor got hot but this seemed ok also.so then i pulled the motor and fist did a bench test,again nothing.i have not had the motor aprt but from what i can see everything looks good.HELP
