Steve, I am certainly no expert on plugs. But according to the chart furnished by Cletis, the C would be the commercial plug. The suffix "N" shows to be a 9.5 MM thread. So it looks like the c44n would not fit. Think it should be a 14mm.
As to the 46S, that would work. It would be an extended tip (good) but a hotter plug.
Maybe this is a good place for someone to explain to us the reasons for using hotter or colder plugs?
I would think hotter the better, but maybe under hard and constant use, the hotter plugs would soon burn the electrodes. But they would be good for infrequent use and just putting around?
I just know I am well pleased with the R 45 S. And for under 2 bucks each, I could change them every month if needed.
