| | | | Joined: May 2012 Posts: 574 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2012 Posts: 574 | i know that these trucks were built when gas was cheap, and that this engine even then was a hog, so i am prepared for that. my aim is to try to gain a couple mpg is all, maybe 3 to 4 mpg, nothing extravagant. i know that by adding true dual exhaust with glass packs can help some, and fine tuning the carb helps. anything else that i am not thinking of? also, this thread is what got me to thinking about gas mileage improvements. https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=917209Indy
