I've been going through the wiring on the truck and replacing most of it. Between a basic wiring schematic that I believe I got from somone on this board a year or two ago and the microscopic one in the shop manual, I believe I have most of the wiring sorted out and correct (we'll see after I hook everything up, put the gauge cluster back in, and try starting it I guess
). However, neither diagram shows how the blower motor on the heater should be wired in. Right now, it is supplied through what appears to be 14 gauge wire from the battery terminal on the starter motor to the heater switch and from there to the blower motor with a second wire from the blower motor to ground. Is this correct? Can anybody confirm what the correct wiring is for a blower motor on a 58? If it matters, it is the original recirc heater not the deluxe heater.
