I searched for where we discussed this before with no luck.
59 GMC fuel gauge. I am about to pull the gauge cluster out again. I remember that to test my gauge with ignition on, sending unit un-hooked, it should go to FULL.
Now, can I put a dead ground to the sending unit post and it should go to EMPTY, if its working correctly?
I am planning on testing it on the workbench. Thanks.
