While most of my young friends are cowering in their basements playing Xbox and Playstation I am looking for projects that I may, or may not, be able to financially support.
My name is Austin and I have for a long time drooled over the old stovebolts and ford 2 ton trucks. Not quite sure why. Most kids stare at fast porshes and dream haha.
Well, in my quest to trade my beloved farmall H for a stovebolt I threw an ad on craigslist to see if I got any bites. I did, but not something I was expecting. A guy offered me a 1948 Federal 25M in trade. I had never seen nor heard of a federal so I inquired for pictures. He said he would send some and in a few minutes they appeared in my inbox.
Suffice to say that in a few weeks time I will be the new owner of a downtrodden Federal 25M firetruck with 5k on it.
Now I know what you all are saying, "Its not a stovebolt, so it doesnt belong here." and I agree. But out of all the places I have found on the web this forum seems to be the most active out of all of them and holds way more collective knowledge and figured some of you fellas could tell me what I got and how to go about fixing what is wrong (the list is quiet long...)
And for those out there wondering what I mean by young... Im 17 and collecting old Iron haha
