Not sure, but the 383 can be a tire smoker with the right buildup. The MOPAR B block engines were the ugly second cousin to the hemi and the 413/440 family, but they're sort of sleepers. With a little tinkering, the 400 crankshaft fits, and makes the B engines real torque monsters.
